es, at last, it's that time of year again, theÔsquarryÕ clubÕs Christmas vindaloony night out.

This yearÕs red-hot do will be held at Nishad's Balti Restaurant in Mill Bank, Stafford, on Thursday 13th December.

The festivities will kick off at Wetherspoons, Stoke, shortly after 4pm.  Transport to and from Stafford has been arranged by the hot and fruity Spikelet, and, depending on the numbers, should cost no more than £10 return.  Climb aboard the Hogwarts express at 5.30pm on platform 9¾ in Kingsway, which will wiz you southwards and onwards.  Return from Stafford will be around 11.00pm.  No mystery pub this year, however, titanic ales at the Stafford Arms should make up for it.

Did you know that Restaurants who support National Curry Day, which is generally held early in November, not only creates a day of fun for curry but also raises money for charity.  In 1999, more than 1,000 UK catering outlets, and even offshore oil rigs and overseas curry houses, joined in the fun and the fund-raising!

Interested in curry ingredients or a need to spice up your day, then check out ÔThe Curry HouseÕ or ÔDeath by CurryÕ web pages

Suggestions for next yearÕs Xmas curry, or any of next yearÕs monthly Squash & Curry nights out are always gratefully received.  This yearÕs Christmas suggestion was made by John (Corky) Commins.  Next year it could be yours.   Outstanding proposals include Naseebs (lads night out), Llandudno (still high on the reserve list), Birmingham (Sparkbrook), Bradford, Burslem!, neck-end, Congleton and Forsbrook.

So, to book your place for a nan-tastic night, contact Yup on ext. 2164.  A deposit of £10 for transport will be required when booking.  (Any difference will be refunded.)

YouÕd be jalfrezi to miss out!
